Kohōpeh is an award-winning novelist and independent researcher based in South-East Asia. Blending rigorous historical research with speculative storytelling, their work explores pivotal moments of political transformation, language contact, and cultural defiance across East and Southeast Asia—from the 1515 Siamese-Khmer frontier in LOTUS, MUD, BLADE to the early Tokugawa Shogunate in THE KABUKI BOOK.
